The Birthday To End All Birthdays is the twenty-third/twenty-fourth episode in the third season of Unikitty!, and the series finale.
Synopsis[]
Part 1[]
Unikitty and her friends secretly orchestrate a series of fun birthday surprises for Master Frown, but their efforts don't bear the fruit that they anticipated.
Part 2[]
Following the events of Master Frown's birthday, Unikitty and the gang form a resistance group to restore peace to the Unikingdom.
Plot[]
Part 1[]
Master Frown walks into his apartment, and sees that Brock prepared a birthday celebration for him. Brock sings a song and shoves a bunch of presents in Master Frown's arms. Master Frown angrily drops them and says that he hates birthdays. Brock says that birthdays are when everything goes your way, but Master Frown says it only reminds him that he is still a low-level Doom Lord. Master Frown slams the door and leaves Brock. He sees someone who is on a wobbly ladder and takes his opportunity to knock them off. Then he notices a citizen with pie and slams the pie into their face. Master Frown sees a kid with a balloon standing near a cactus. Master Frown exclaims that it is a good birthday and pops the balloon. The kid and the balloon cry.
Meanwhile, Unikitty, Puppycorn, Hawkodile, Dr. Fox, and Richard are watching Master Frown on camera. Brock gives them Master Frown's birthday list, and they read it. Meanwhile, Master Frown sees a bunny with a carrot that Unikitty and her friends set up, and he drops it in the sewers. Master Frown laughs as the bunny cries. Master Frown sees an old man who is eating soup, and asks him to pass the salt. Master Frown dumps all the salt into the soup. The old man says that he doesn't like it salty. Master Frown encounters Puppycorn who is holding a lollipop. Puppycorn talks with Unikitty because he forgot what he was going to say, so Unikitty tells him his lines. Master Frown takes his lollipop and Puppycorn fakes crying. Unikitty tells him that he did a good job, but Puppycorn thinks it's one of his lines, so he says it to Master Frown. Master Frown says that they're not related and walks away. He encounters Hawkodile, and Hawkodile challenges him to a fight. Hawkodile is prepared for a real fight, but Unikitty says that he has to let Frown win. Hawkodile reluctantly follows.
Hawkodile pretends that he can't hit Master Frown, and Master Frown slaps him weakly. Hawkodile pretends it was a hard hit and flies into the castle wall. Sarcastically, Hawkodile says that Master Frown is too good. Master Frown calls him a wimp and attempts to backflip but falls over instead. Then he runs away. Hawkodile express his dislike for the fight, and Unikitty says he is a hero. Next, Richard says flatly that he would lose his page if someone took his bookmark. Master Frown rips out 2 pages, and Richard gets angry. Unikitty thinks he's acting and tells him it's super good. Richard says that he is happy to help while trying to suppress his anger. Next on the list, it says "Mess up the lab", so Dr. Fox hides and Master Frown comes. He gets a flamethrower and blows up the robots, and then gets into a mech and starts shooting everywhere. Dr. Fox comes out of her hiding spot after Master Frown leaves. Dr. Fox tells Unikitty it's way too much, and says there's only one last thing to do. The last part of the list says "Defeat Unikitty". Unikitty and her friends go to fight Master Frown.
They chase him up the head of Unikitty's castle, and he starts slapping with his eyes closed. Puppycorn notices that they're too far away, so he moves closer and they all get slapped. They fall off of the castle's left ear and say sarcastically how good Master Frown is. Unikitty says they won't give up, but Master Frown stuffs a lollipop into his ray gun, and shoots Unikitty, which makes a green plasma ball over her head. Unikitty and her friends are scared, but then it turns into a cloud and starts raining lightly. Unikitty pretends that it's her greatest weakness, and her friends also go under the cloud. Master Frown says that he finally defeated Unikitty, and Master Doom comes. Master Doom says she's proud of Master Frown for beating Unikitty by himself, but Unikitty giggles and says that she staged it. Master Doom asks Master Frown if this is true, and he starts laughing. Master Frown reveals that the birthday list was actually his to-do list to get promoted. He says that all he had to do was act mopey and sad so Unikitty and her friends would do all the work. Master Doom says that it was a good plan and promotes Master Frown. Master Frown says that everyone in the land will be talking about Master Big Frown. Puppycorn says the name is unimpressive, but Master Frown thinks it is cool. Master Frown asks if his powers are unimpressive, and fires a blast to the sky, which transforms the Unikingdom into a depressing wasteland. Brock comes and asks if he missed the "happy birthday" part, and says happy birthday to Master Frown.
Part 2[]
Unikitty and her friends have formed a resistance group, and are trying their best to spread happiness to everyone. But Master Frown comes and turns everything unhappy again. Unikitty says that they're unprepared, and so she and her friends retreat to the sewers. Master Doom and the other Doom Lords come. She asks him if he got rid of Unikitty yet, and Master Frown tells her not to worry about it, because he is spreading misery around the kingdom. Master Frown says that the other Doom Lords know what he's talking about, and acts like they are friends, to their annoyance. They all disappear, leaving behind smoke. Master Frown coughs, and looks sadly at the spot they vanished.
Meanwhile, in the sewers, Unikitty and her friends, along with some citizens are camping there. Unikitty says that they ran out of happiness supplies, Then, someone comes down from the surface and says that they have good news. They say that the Doom Lords have left to do something, and Unikitty says it's the perfect time for operation KFBTSTKAHIWCIOLR(Kick Frown's Butt To Save The Kingdom And Hope It Works Cuz It's Our Last Resort) Unikitty asks them to say friendship when she says power-up. They do this 2 times, but on the 3rd time, Richard interrupts and says "long live the resistance" instead. Back at Unikitty's Castle(which now belongs to Master Frown and looks like him instead of Unikitty), Master Frown asks Brock to brood with him over the resistance.
Brock is playing videogames and refuses. He asks if they can do something fun like making tortellini. Master Frown says no because he has to get rid of Unikitty. Brock asks why, and Master Frown says because he's a real Doom Lord and so he can't mess up. Unikitty and her friends bust in to stop him. Master Frown says to get out of his house and calls them losers. Hawkodile shoots something at him, which turns out to be a small net. Master Frown easily blasts it. Hawkodile gets hit by the blast and asks someone to avenge him. Dr. Fox says that she will and throws grenades, which also turn out to be small nets. Unikitty thinks they have Frown captured, but he blasts her and Dr. Fox. Puppycorn says that he and Richard will use the "Double Double Synchronized Net Attack", which Master Frown easily destroys. Unikitty says they should've brought more than just nets, but Master Frown blasts her. He says that he's out of their league, and puts them into a cage. Master Frown tells Brock, but Brock is angry. Brock says that since his promotion, he became a big jerk. Master Frown is sad at first, but then he says a real friend would be happy for him and puts Brock into the cage as well
Master Doom and the other Doom Lords come. Master Doom says they came back because they forgot their sunscreen. Master Frown announces excitedly that he finally captured Unikitty and her friends. He asks if they can hang out and eat pizza, but Master Doom laughs and says that Doom Lords have no time for stupid things like friendship. Master Frown says he thought that they could finally be friends after he became a real Doom Lord. Master Doom angrily says that he is supposed to annihilate the Unikingdom so they can make their new headquarters. Master Frown is suprised, and Unikitty and her friends are scared. Master Doom says they will brood on Unkingdom's destruction. Meanwhile, in the cage, Dr. Fox says that they need to fight Master Frown, but Unikitty says that he just needed friends. Dr. Fox says it's worth a try, but Hawkodile reminds them that they're still in a cage. Brock reveals he stole the key from Master Frown, so Unikitty and her friends escape. They attack all the Doom Lords, and Master Doom says that she thought Master Frown said he had them under control. Unikitty says that she can't be rid of, and says she has something to tell Master Frown. Hawkodile says that he's terrible at karate, but offers to give lessons. Dr. Fox says that Master Frown loves destroying her things, but she said that they could make something together. Richard says whenever Master Frown comes he has to fill out insurance papers, but says he loves insurance and Master Frown can come by anytime. Puppycorn asks if he wants to play catch.
Master Frown says no, and tells them to stop being nice to him. Brock says that even though he's annoying sometimes, he still likes doing things with him. Unikitty says that Master Frown made her sad, and shoots a laser of tears at Master Malice. She says he made her mad, and shoots fire at Master Hazard. Unikitty says that sometimes he mad her crazy, and flashes rainbow while shooting a laser. Master Frown gets ready to fight, but Unikitty says that they can always be friends. Master Frown asks if she actually means it, and Unikitty says yes, but she gets hit by a laser. Master Frown gasps, and Unikitty's friends scream. Master Doom says that she's tired of all of this. Unikitty's friends go to check if she's okay, but Master Doom asks Master Frown to get rid of them. Master Frown is scared at first, but Master Doom asks him what he is waiting for, so he quickly prepares to laser them.
Unikitty is scared, but she gives him a smile, causing him to stop. Master Doom asks what he is doing. She says that this was what Master Frown wanted. Master Frown turns around and says he thought it was, but it isn't. He says that Master Big Frown is a dumb name, and Master Doom gets mad. Master Frown says that he should've quit a long time ago, and instead fires a laser at her. Master Doom comes back, and says that she can't be defeated. Unikitty says nothing is stronger than friendship, and everyone holds hands. She tells them to say friendship when she says power-up. They summon a glowing heart, but it disappears. Unikitty says everyone has to hold hands. Unikitty asks Master Frown to hold hands, but he thinks it's weird. Unikitty asks again, and he refuses again. He says angrily that he doesn't want to. Unikitty goes into a rage and asks if he wants to defeat Master Doom, so he agrees. He holds hands with Brock, but he is disgusted that he has to hold hands with Unikitty.
He and Unikitty hold hands, and the glowing heart appears, which turns out to be a laser, which defeats Master Doom and causes Julian to scream "NOOOOOO!". Everyone celebrates, and the Unikingdom turns back to normal. Master Frown and Brock marvel at this, and says maybe all he needs is to be regular Master Frown. Then they hug, and Unikitty thinks that it is cute. Unikitty hugs him and says that she's proud of him. Master Frown tells her not to get used to it, but then everyone comes and gives him a kiss. Master Frown says that it is gross, and says that he hates it. He shouts that he regrets everything while everyone kisses him.
