Shining MechaKitty Turbo V is a battle mech invented by Dr. Fox, used in “Kaiju Kitty”.

Description

Appearance

Shining MechaKitty Turbo V is a robot that resembles Unikitty. It has five pilot components: the head, the left arm, the right arm, the legs, and the appendix (where the self-destruct button is). The robot is referred to not just as an 'it', but also as a 'she'.

Its face looks like Unikitty's, with lights for eyes and a permanent smile. Its right arm has a green shoulder with a yellow star and red wrist. Its left arm has an orange shoulder with a yellow star and green wrist. Its chest has a hatched heart component. Its legs are spiked, with yellow feet.

Kaiju Kitty

When a giant jelly creature attacked the Unikingdom, Dr. Fox introduced Unikitty, Puppycorn, Hawkodile, and Richard to the Shining MechaKitty Turbo V. Unikitty was happy that it "looked like her, but metal", Hawkodile was impressed by the hydraulics, Puppycorn was enamored by how "shiny and chrome" it was, and Richard only wanted to know who paid for it. As Dr. Fox explained the abilities of the robot, Unikitty only wanted to know if it needed five pilots, which it did. As such, the five of them took control of the robot to defeat the monster.

It took them a while to get into sync, but the five of them were able to pilot the robot over to the monster, who threw sections of its body at them. Using the palm light, Dr. Fox quickly destroyed these particles, as the monster swung a long punch towards the robot, which Hawkodile shielded. Puppycorn used a distraction by rocketing one of the feet across the world, distracting the monster with a kick and sending it up in the air. Finally, Unikitty summoned the Radiant Shimmering Sparkle Sword, slicing the monster in half, thus giving it a friend and pacifying the monster.

While Richard wanted to return the robot back to its dock, the others insisted they needed to stay in the robot for "reasons". This was demonstrated by helping Really Old Edith cross the street, helping a driver avoid an accident, and rescuing the pet of a young boy. All of these ended in disaster, as Richard continued to insist that the robot was not needed for combat purposes.

Ignoring Richard, the others agreed to stay inside the robot, doing their leisurely activities with it. This lasted for months, much to the detriment of the health and hygiene of the pilots. After breaking the lockdown button, Unikitty started a robot dance party, which she insisted that "everyone" loved, even as it destroyed the town. The town was soon alerted of another monster in the town, revealed by the screaming citizens and Craig, who had been on top of the robot ever since it was booted up, to be the robot itself.

Realizing that they were stuck thanks to lockdown, the pilots used every attack that they could to destroy the robot. This culminated in launching the Mega Robot Giggle Missile, which the robot was piloted to fly into. Despite an impressive explosion, this did nothing to destroy the robot. Richard then realized his station housed the self-destruct button, which he was commanded to press, launching the pilots to safety, but destroying the Shining MechaKitty Turbo V in an impressive fireworks display.

Trivia

The limbs of MechaKitty Turbo V possess design aspects of the characters that pilot them. The left arm has ears and the labcoat pattern of Dr. Fox, the right arm has Hawkodile's feather pattern, and the legs both have Puppycorn's spiked dog collar motif.
Mechakitty Turbo V is summoned via a flute played by Dr. Fox, in reference to both Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Its launch pad is located under Craig's carrot patch.
